specify the terms under which we agree to sell products to you. You may want to

If you do not agree to be bound by our terms, you must not use this website
for any purpose.
- Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions, but,
we reserve the right to refuse to supply goods or services at our discretion
and without further explanation.
Offer and acceptance
- A binding contract is formed between you and Chipperfield Garden Machinery when
you receive confirmation from us by e-mail, telephone or other means that your
order has been despatched. Please note that regardless of the name of
the website you bought products on, the contract is between you
and Chipperfield Garden Machinery
Prices
- The price you pay for is displayed clearly on the website.
- In the instance that our prices are displayed incorrectly, we will notify
you of the error prior to despatch of the goods and give you the opportunity
to cancel your order should you wish
Delivery
- We reserve the right to amend our mailing policy any time.
- Most orders are delivered free to UK mainland excluding some Scottish
Highlands. (restrictions apply to tractors and other large machinery, contact
us by phone or email for full details).
- All items arrive boxed and may require fuel/oil and minimal assembly
before they can be used.
Returns / Cancellation of orders under UK law (UK customers only)This
site trades in accordance with recent EU directives for online trading as
follows:
- We provide a secure checkout for the encrypted delivery of sensitive
customer information such as contact and credit card details.
- We do not store your credit card details.
- To cancel you should telephone 01923 269377 or write to
Chipperfield Garden Machinery, Langley Road, Chipperfield, Herts WD4 9EG clearly marking
the envelope "RETURNS" within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting
your order number. You will be given a return number that must be used when
returning your goods.
- Should you wish to cancel your order before delivery, provided your order
hasn't entered the shipping phase a refund will be actioned which can take up
to 28 days to appear on your account.
Data Protection
- Chipperfield Garden Machinery Ltd holds your order details on a secure database for the
purpose of fulfilling orders. If you opt out of receiving discount codes, you
will not be sent promotional communication.
- Your credit card details are not held by Chipperfield Garden Machinery for online orders and cannot
be accessed after an order has been placed.
- Minimal information is stored on a secure database for fullfilment of Service Bookings. All data is stored and
protected by a SSL Certificate offering up to 256-bit encryption, the strongest most secure available. Please

Unlawful Provision
- If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or
for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall
not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and
conditions.
Governing law and jurisdiction
- This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes
arising out of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of England and Wales. Those who access the site from other
locations are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes as
applicable.
- Any disputes not resolved by normal complaints procedure will be resolved
exclusively in the courts of England and Wales under English Law.
