The GC-RS 2540 CB electric shredder comes from German manufacturer's Einhell. A quiet shredder which is well built, robust and designed to help keep your graden tidy during those clearing times. The cutting drum can cope with branches up to 40mm in diameter and with the forward and reverse function, if a blockage occurs, you can simplychange the direction of the drum enabling the branch to be removed out of the blades allowing you to continue shredding the material that can pass through the blades into the 60 litre collector box. The wheels allow the machine to be easily trasported around the garden from wherever the machine is stored.

Shredded
This is a great machine It turns the trimmings into like shavings or wood chips which are great to use to cover over the flower borders or just to simply make it possible to get in the waste bin or compost for quick composting. In a very small amount of time turned a pile of pruning's into a small manageable pile.

Chip or shred
I have now used my new shredder. It is very quiet compared to my old one (Alko) and at first seemed to work a lot slower, but after just 20 minutes it had broken and and shredded all the conifer cuttings I had. The Integral dustbin is very useful and saves a lot of messing around clearing the stuff you have just shredded off the floor. I took the advice from Chipperfield which seemed a bit off where I thought I would buy but turned out right so Thank you

Tidy up
The machine is good quality, quiet when being used and eats up our garden waste as promised, we turned a massive pile if pruning into less than a dustin bag full Appreciated help from the staff
