New to Chipperfield Garden Machinery, the HP45 petrol lawnmower from Mountfield is hand propelled and features a robust powder coated steel chassis. It boasts a powerful Mountfield engine producing 100cc and is started with the easy recoil method. The OHV formation minimizes noise and vibration. It also emits less toxic exhaust emissions so you can use it safe in the knowledge that the environment is protected.
A varied cutting height (20-70mm) allows you to trim all areas of your garden no matter how challenging, leaving your lawn looking neat and tidy. Ball bearing wheels also help guide the machine around the complex areas of your lawn. It features a large 45cm cutting deck to cover larger areas in shorter time. It provides a generous 55-litre grass box reducing the number of trips to be emptied. Finally the ergonomic handle features OPC (Operator Presence Control) which ensures your safety when using this piece of equipment, allowing it to run only when you are at the controls. It also means that it can be stored easily.

Excellent good value product Easy to assemble, started 1st time excellent choice of grass cut length. This is a very hardy product that is sturdy yet easy to use. I would not hesitate to recommend this mower for any medium to large domestic garden.

For the money it’s a Good lawnmower I normally buy second hand lawnmowers, but this time it really was time to buy a new one. I’d searched high and low for an affordable lawnmower for quite a few weeks, worked out what I wanted and didn’t want from one and ended up buying this one.
Pros:
Large Cutting width
Very easy to start
Easy to use
Collects the grass well in the bucket
Nice to use without the bucket, no grassy feet and legs
Doesn’t use a lot of petrol
Fairly lightweight lawnmower
Con:
Instructions weren’t that great nor clear to build it up
For the money it’s a good lawnmower!
