Our latest submission in our  ‘ Your Garden’ series has been sent in Abby N, who has recently finished the last touches to her pond by adding these lovely round stepping stones to connect the arbour at the back with the rest of the garden. What a lovely way to access it!

The arbour at the back is a great way to create an area to enjoy the views of the whole garden. The arbour provides a sense of privacy and protection, perfect to enjoy a quiet moment while reading a book for instance.

The stepping stones connect the grassed area of the garden, the pond and the arbour. It such wonderful way to access the arbour and really connects all the elements of Abby’s garden.

The planting is also clearly well thought out, water loving Iris, Japanese Anemone and we’re especially in awe of the Lupin on the left. The long banks and along the sides make the perfect place for wildlife to hide and make use of the pond in areas that will have very little disturbance.
